Gwen's the belle of the ball again

GWEN STEFANI led the glamour charge at a star-studded charity bash in Cannes last night.

The singer upstaged her younger rivals in a stunning lacy black number, a skilled application of make-up and a slick hairdo.

She was accompanied by her smart hubby GAVIN ROSSDALE at amfAR's Cinema Against Aids event.

However, the rocker appeared ill at ease with his posh attire, with the look of a man who'd rather be in jeans and a T-shirt.At the age of 41, Gwen stole the spotlight when she arrived at the event - as did COURTNEY LOVE for all the wrong reasons.

The HOLE frontwoman left little to the imagination in an unsightly gown that exposed much of her torso - and her sinister grin didn't help to improve the look.
